with a cast of 18, our biggist production. 2009 Mars AttacksAn old time radio show with 2 Orson Welles' radio plays - War of the Worlds and His Honor the Mayor - and includes local musicians, commercials for local businesses, and skits. Crimes of the Heart was written by Beth Henley, winner of the 1981 Pulitzer Prize. Nunsense Jamboree was our first musical production. Marriage, Mystery, and Musings involved 3 one-act plays: A Marriage Proposal by Anton Chekhov; Trifles, a feminist play written in 1916 by Susan Glaspell; and Worn Wooden Benches written by local playwright Philip Potak. 2008 The Green Roomwas a comedy about a fictional local talk show host written by Paul Lamar, a SUNY Cobleskill professor.
World renowned tap dancer Brenda Buffalino gave a one evening performance. A Little Touch of Shakespeare in the Night featured 2 one act plays, A Little Touch of Harry in the Night, a world premiere by a Canadian playwright and Dark Lady of the Sonnets by George Bernard Shaw.
