Founded in 2006 by Katherine Hawkins, The Theater Project's mission is to bring high quality community theater to Schoharie County. We are an all-volunteer, not-for-profit organization. Our goal has been to produce four major productions a year, plus a number of other fundraisers. All our shows are community theater productions. That means that everyone from the actors to props manager to our generous supporters who advertise in our playbill are all local people, just like you. Some of us have been involved in theater for many years, and some of us are new to it, but with each show we produce, our community theater family expands
